Why can I never find what I'm looking for using the Answerbag search engine, yet a simple "site colon answerbag" search parameter on Google finds it right away?

I noticed that lately, (today is July 23, 2006) the AB search engine is much more effective than it's been in the past. I tested it yesterday with a phrase from an 18 month old answer. Sure enough, the search engine provided a link to that particular answer, which was a first. The improvement seems to be on answer searches (just as the search box notes) - and not key words within questions. I'm sure that's on the ABag To-Do list, though. The staff always has a bunch of those irons in the proverbial fire.

All I can say is I found until about 10 to 15 days ago, whenever I enter a question in the search engine it was insanely good. Now even if I enter it word for word, except for one question, it "no result"

I have no problem with it. I think you need to give it in a phrase, and not random words joined together.
