Is it easier for a hacker to enter a PC (or view what the PC user views) if it's connected to the Internet through an unsecured "Linksys" wireless network? If so, how?

If you have a wireless laptop, yes, it's very easy. But out of ethics, I'm not going to say how. I live by a high school and kids try to tap into my network quite often. So I set up an unsecured Linksys with a honeypot connected to it. No real internet access, just one box. Nothing on it, but I'm guessing it's riddled with viruses. So be carefull of what you are trying to do.
