I can sometimes turn blue, sometimes yellow, and sometimes like an X-ray. What am I?

Electricity. You can see the blue and yellow sparks, and in the cartoons, you can see their bones, just like an X-ray. I'm not if I've seen it in real life though.

Why can't the answer also be "light" or electromagnetic waves? They can be any color and can be gamma, infrared, ultraviolet and even x-ray.
