Yep. I was just watching "what not to wear" last weekend and they paired grey pants with brown shoes.
-
No, I don't own any charcoal pants. Damn.
-
Personally I would not combine Brown and Grey. Fashion is a personal choice if you feel comfortable then it is up to you.
-
That would be a tricky combination to pull off. It depends on if the brown had cool undertones and a shirt/tie with a combination of the colors helps. As a general rule, grey is best with black shoes and belt.
-
I personally wouldn't. I think black matches grey.
-
I would go with black.
-
You can, but I would strongly advise against it. Go with gray or black.
-
I could because brown shoes match most anything as well as a brown belt on men. As a man answering a question in men's fashion I would agree that this would look just fine.
-
I don't like those together, but if you do, Then you should. I do as I please, no matter what "they" say :)
-
I would say no...keep your browns with browns and your blacks and greys together.
-
I would say Yes. Depends on the shirt too. Light blue, white, or pink would look good with brown.
-
I wouldn't. I would wear black shoes with charcoal pants.
-
gray and brown- bad combination.. Go for black.
-
Sure looka the comment above...It can work. It takes matching with shirt and tie. Go to a store and ask for assistance.
-
With grey or charcoal you should wear black or nearly black shoes. Wear brown shoes with brown pants, beige pants, tan pants, or off white, but not with grey or charcoal. Try to match your hemline and stay in the same general color family. Black is a cool color and brown is a warm color. They should be paired with clothing from the same seasonal family.
-
brown belt is a mayyyybe depending on your shirt.. which i can't think of right now but shoes are a no-no...
-
Yes, of course you can. If you haven't figured out that these two colors work together then you're probably under the impression that you can't wear dark brown shoes with a navy suit...in other words, you're totally lost.
-
as long as the belt and shoes match brown or black dosent matter
-
This depends on the variety of gray and or brown. Not every gray and every brown will look good together. Try sticking to a darker brown shoe, and a lighter gray. The darker the gray the more awkward you will look. Make sure to match the belt to the shoes. Make sure the brown of the shoe is the same shade of brown in the belt, or close to avoid irregularities in your look. To pull off the look further, wear a color shirt or tie that uses colors that easily go with brown, such as a light blue. Overall, just make sure when you put it all together you are confident in the look.
-
Geez....so many "NOs" on brown and grey. I think this is actually a classy look and if you consult many fashion experts they will give this a thumbs up. The shoes have to be a dark brown. I wouldn't look for your answer on these type of forums.
-
Absolutely you can. It does however depend on the tone of each color. For instance you couldn't wear dark brown shoes and belt with a light color grey
-
"What Not To Wear"... brown shoes and grey pants!
