I say "Flip flop". I was at work one day, and a friend had on a necklace with a flip-flop charm. I said, "Oh, what a cute thong! Hey, Tony, come take a look at Alice's thong!" (Yelled across several other employees in the lounge.) She turned beet red, and I had no idea why, at the time. Turns out, I lived in a different generation when "thong" meant something you wear on your feet, not something on your butt!
