Overcome it. But lately it's been tough for some reason. I have to think it through.

I will either stop it if I have the power to do so, or get away from it if I have the means to do so. If neither option is available, I will hit the whiskey a little earlier than usual and in heavier doses.

I'm a little over sensitive to some of the noises people make while eating. But since I love people and I love to eat I try to compete with myself to see how much I can smile and relax and laugh and focus on how much I care about this person. I'm sure I can be pretty annoying too.

Go focus on something else. -Take a nap. -Take a drive. -Log on to Answerbag. -Play with the dog. -Try to spread peanut butter on wet celery. . What do you do Savage?

If possible, I'll leave the room. If that's not possible, I try to focus on something else.

Complain about it.

Throw it across the room and shout "DAMN YOU JAVA!" Oh wait. That's just one incident.

Get away from it, read a book, or sleep.

I usually try to fix it in some way, unless it's really minor or I realize I'm annoyed because I'm tired or stressed. Then I just get some crackers and cheese to eat with my whine.
