If anything it makes one more of a "giving lover" by the fact that one is recieving pleasure by giving pleasure. Otherwise there's the implication that charity workers are only in it for themselves. Although that could be argued, but this is not the perceived context of the question. If one continued to engage in cunnalingus when it did not pleasure ones partner, or even when it made the partner uncomfortable, then it is for personal pleasure regardless.
