I would never charge and I would never allow anyone to know it was I that healed them. I believe it it were possible to heal another I could do a lot more good if no one knew what I could do.

I would not advertise it openly for there would surely people who would try to take advantage of it. I would seek those who needed healing and cure them for free and if possible, without them knowing it was me.

I would do it for free with no judgment. I wouldn't advertise it, but if it became known I wouldn't turn anybody away...as long as it doesn't hurt me in the end(you know overuse of powers) I watch to much t.v. and play too many games. lol. I wished I did have that power though. great question, by the way.

I would use it to help people for free, since I do not believe people should have to pay to stay healthy. (Doctors and such should be paid for their work, but patients should not have to pay to survive).

Depends on the situation I guess. I think it would take some kind of effort to heal someone.

The more effort (or time) it takes, the more you are in need of financial support to be able to carry out the healing.

I would rather not charge a person for healing. A tip would be nice though :)

  • I am a reiki practioner. Reiki is a form of healing touch. It's funny that no one expects a massage therapist to give his or her services for free. That said I give friends and family treatments for free. I also volunteer my time twice a week at a free reiki circle. The circle is not the same as a full treatment but it still benefits many people. When I decide to open up a practice I will charge money. If I knew of someone who was in dire need I might barter or do sliding scale.

Most of the time we have the ability to heal certain individuals without knowing so...if any healing has been done it would determined by the individual.

You have to be more specific as to what type of healing powers your relating to.

I've been doing a bit of Palmistry and that to me is considered a healing process. Most people make the assumption that Palmistry is used to depict the future, but in reality its not. Its more of a method to conduct a character analysis of that certain individual.

I do have healing touch. It is a gift from God that I have further developed. And after years of trying to help others and struggling within my own life I now charge. I'm real clear that the 'work' I do for others is free... however, my time is not. Like everyone else I must pay rent, utilities and phone bills. I've worked hard to be 'debt free' so all I have is my monthly bills to live on this planet. Charging those who can afford it gives me the opportunity to help others without having to work at Wal-mart to eat and have a place to live. And it frees up the rest of my time to work pro-bono for those in a hard place and in need of life, body, mind, energetic and spiritual healing.

I'd make those who could afford to pay and I'd do it for free those who couldn't afford it. My biggest worry about having those kind of powers would be that everyone would expect me to heal them so I'd probably refuse to use my powers for two weeks out of each month unless someone was immediately going to die in front of me or, keep my ability as secret as possible while still using it.

For free, I got the gift for nothing, I would feel bad demanding cash, or making a profit. Why should only those that can afford to be healed get healed, that is harsh.

Health should be a right not a luxury in a civilised world as this.

However, of course I would accept donations from those able to pay me if they wanted to, I need to pay the bills right?

I have that gift of healing. Charging money is how you weed out the people who don't take you seriously. Trust me on this, if it's free, everyone wants it, but once they have to pay money, that number dwindles down to next to no one.

I tried making a business of it years ago, but people don't really value it all that much. It's a novelty to them.

For those of you who would give it away for free; try it sometime. See how much fun you have at it after a couple of months of being bothered by desperate people looking for a cheap way out. (Free = bargain hunters = major hassle/no reward.)

Free also means giving up your time in exchange for nothing but a few tips. It's not enough to give you a decent life. If no one is taking care of you, you're going to lose interest in taking care of other people pretty quickly.

I am a healer. This is not like I'm Christ or something where I can do it in an instant. It takes time, energy, effort, knowledge and expertese. Quite often many sessions. My best results have been animals. People are harder to do for me. It requires pure love, that's the trick. This is not magic. Just pure love. And the ability to move energy.

I do not charge but people are wonderful. They always come through in whatever way they can.

We all have the gift of healing
threw our touch, when I Hug a sad
freind I Hug her to make feel
    better. I Could,nt Imagine sayinb
oh, by the way I'm going to need
    $5.00 for that hug.
Plus you could live pritty darn
good off a true healing touch
think of all the places you would
travel, the things you would do
the people u would heal would bare
that exspense. Now for the poor thats
were you might need to charge other people
money so you could get to them. but,
if u had the magic touch I'm sure you could
    heal your way to anyone.

I set up a "Healing Word and Touch" corporation. I'd then use the touch for free amongst the people of earth, however, asking for a donation to my corporation for the furtherance of the advancement of the "Word of the Healing Touch". No different than religious organizations asking for a free-will offering (sometimes coerced). If necessary I'd register it as a religion with me as the paid administrator.
I could do a lot of good with the money!!!
