You can find this information easily on your computer. Go to the 'Start' menu and click on 'Conrol Panel' (if you are using windows ME or earlier you should click on settings, then control panel) Once in 'Control Panel' you will see a few icons. Click on 'System'. When 'System' opens..the screen you see in front of you, will have all the information you need.

As a shortcut, if you right-click on the My Computer icon on your desktop and select Properties, it will bring you directly to the System Properties screen, bypassing the need to open the control panel.

Well, if you're running windows, right click My Computer and click properties. This will show you your RAM amount. As for a second way, look inside the computer, remove the RAM chips and read them. There's always lettering on the RAM chip. Google the number and brand on the chip if it's not right there for you to see and you'll find the amount. Richard Shines

1. If running Windows (I don't know for a Mac sorry), right click on your 'My Computer' icon then click properties. In the 'General' tab of the window that opens, it will tell you how much RAM you have. 2. Take the panel off the side of your computer tower, see how much RAM you have (it might say on the side of the chips how much they are, or you might be able to tell (if you know a lot in the field) how much they are just by looking (but if you can do this, I'm pretty sure you already knew how to find out how much RAM you had : P )
