I have a 90 model f-150 and i am having problems with keeping it running after it starts ,it starts fine but when i go and give it any kind of peddle it bogs down ,causes one of my plugs to miss and then dies

    Same trouble, here! My 1993 F-150 4.9L 5 speed also idles fine, dies upon acceleration, and I have replaced everything, except the distributor and F3TF-TA computer!

    Changed out with new, Fuel Filter, Ignition coil (no change to symptoms!), wires (3 were broken), cap (had corroded pins), rotor (normal, discolored metal), plugs (3 were gapped wrong), TPS ( was intermittant), tested the MAP, replaced a blown electrolytic capacitor on the T3FT-TA computer (10uf@63VDC), O2 sensor looks new on this just purchased truck.

    Catalytic converter is gone, replaced with a FreeFlow muffler.
    When I get a solution, it will be posted!
