  • Since nobody knows what "gravity" really is, it's entirely speculation at this time. However, if gravity stopped working, everything, including the atmosphere would float of into space and we would all die.
  • That's like asking: If your traveleing through the Earth at 500 mph, How many pancakes does it take to wallpaper a building? It's fantasy - make up whatever your brain wants - how could there ever be a correct answer?
  • I'm gay..I already float...I guess I'd have to choose option #2--walk. (I'm kidding BTW:)
  • I hate to be a spoilsport, but its just impossible to say because its not going to happen!
  • There is no scintefic relationship between gravity and time by this means hence a clear answer to your qustion is unachivable.
  • It depends if you have the "gravity control" option installed in the watch. Most of these watchs are too cheap to keep the gravity running, and you float around everywhere. If you want to keep walking, you'll need the gravity option.
  • Here is another question for you. If you could stop time, would you be able to move? It requires time in order for something to move. If time stops so does all movement. While you are under the influence of the watch, everything else around you stops, this include the air. While in this state would you be able to move the air particles out of your way so that you could move into the space it occupies? Would you even be able to breath?
  • There is a potential correlation between gravity and time in most theoretical calculations of space matter/time interaction. Theories regarding black holes often rely on this belief (such as the concept that time can actually increase exponentially compared to a relatively-sized area of space when impacted by enormous amounts of gravity). This would be interesting to explore in more depth, but alas, I am at my office and cannot committ my limited brain power to the job. On the "to do" list now though.
  • Just to nudge your thoughts along, I want you to consider the relativity of space and time as well as the relativity of the observer. There is no unique, absolute time. Now for the fun part: Would time still appear to progress on the watch in question?
  • if you did stop time and you tried to "walk" then the atoms that you move would move faster than light they would be moving at the speed of Infinity. however we must make sure all our understandings of time and gravity are correct. The dimension of Time is the 5th along with two other time dimensions 6th and 7th (these could be concidered choices or multiuniverses. however gravity works because of warping the 4th dimension.(follow me on this) therefore just as I can go on a flat grassland to get somewhere or I can go through the valley right beside it by (manipulating) the third dimension (stepping sideways) so a person stopping time could choose to step 5th dimensionally to choose to use or not use gravity.... i should be right on this.(did a siminar on multidimensionality 6 months ago.){{this will be reposted }}
  • +5 I do all the time. I got the watch at a small pawn shop. It is great those mornings I want to sleep in. Gravity is no problem. Thanks for asking
  • edit sorry.
