  • Cats are very territorial and posessive. They don't like to share. You were her human, and suddenly, she has company... and she's really too old for them to be fooled into thinking they're siblings. First, when adding more cats to existing cats, you need to do it very gradually. Lock the new ones up in a room separate, and introduce the smell gradually by changing things they're sleeping on into the main house. Then try introducing them to each other, and reseparating them. Do it over the course of a few weeks. All the while, pay a lot of attention to your existing calico. You may want to try removing the cats you brought in, and see if your calico will stop being mad at you. Otherwise, you'll just have to wait and see if she gets over it, or just stays angry as a habit. The other possibility is (if she really likes the new kittens and is putting her attention on them instead of you) just that she's more interested in the other kittens than in you now, and that would likely fade over time, but it would probably be a lot of time.
