When I was a kid, I couldn't wait to become an adult. When I became an adult, I realized just how childish adults are, and I wanted to go back to childhood, where people are more mature, and didn't hold grudges.

Yes, but sometimes people just get pushed TOO far and resort to childish behavior. It's tough to 'think things through in an adult way' when you're good and pissed.

It doesn't amaze me, no. The mediocrity of the human race is something I came to terms with a long time ago. It does, however, irritate me beyond belief, when two adults who are supposed to be intelligent, emotionally mature people, engage in pathetic wars - on the internet no less - with each other, and try to rope other people in to give their childish little arguments credence. Really, it just makes me lose all faith in humanity.
-
Yeah. And, "Mom! I want to go home! Get my coat"!
-
No it does not amaze me, it is just a sad part of human nature.

Yes, but unfortunately it's very easy to fall into that situation and very difficult to resist, even when you're big like the president. You bomb Afghanistan because Osama struck first and you launch your shock and awe bombing on Iraq turning it into a hell because you lost your patience with Saddam. "The strong is not the one who overcomes the people by his strength, but the strong is the one who controls himself while in anger." That's one of the sayings of Prophet Mohammed as reported by Abu Huraira, one of his companions.

No, because my dad can beat up both of their dads. Nyeh, nyeh, nyeh, nyeh.

And it was always fun to look at the adults and say, "Will you two ever grow up?"
