Lol, probably. Cantonese is probably the language of rudeness. Really, there are no such things as "swear words" in Cantonese - it's part of everyday language!

    2) "CPLDE leader Maurice Druon, well-known author and Academie Française secretary said: "All languages are equal and all the national sensitivities are duly protected. However, as regards the interpretation of texts it is better to be certain what we are writing. The Italian language is the language of song, German is good for philosophy and English for poetry. French is best at precision, it has a rigour to it. It is the safest language for legal purposes...The language of Montesquieu is unbeatable.""

    3) "French has always been a favorite foreign language to learn among students. For a long time, it was the diplomatic language, the language spoken in all the courts of Europe, the language of great literature, and of course the “language of love”. Lately, French has been superseded by other languages, particularly English and Spanish."

Yes, English has surpassed French but Spanish never.

As a matter of fact Spanish is the 5th most studied language in the world as a foreign languae and French is second.

    1. English (500 miilion)
    2. French (200 million)
    3. Russian (20 million)
    4. German (15 million)
    5. Spanish (14 million)

Spanish is just restricted to Spain and Latin America while French along with English are the only true global languages.

French, when spoken properly is the language of artists and chefs! English, casual chit chat. German, dirty talking and philosophy! My girlfriend gets so turned on when I talk dirty to her in German.
