C3 photosynthesis is what most plants undergo. It is called that because when the carbon dioixde molecule enters the calvin cycle, it is a three carbon molecule. C4 plants are tropical plants. Their carbon dioxide molecules enter in 4 carbon molecules. In C4 plants, photosynthesis happens in mesophyll cells and bundle sheath cells. :) i hope this helps!!!!
