La Mer recorded by Chicago under Reiner is a real good recording. Chicago under Solti is really good too. In High School Band we played Fêtes from La Mer. HS Band really helped get me interested in Classical music. We were primarily a concert band. I haven't explored Debussey as much as I'd like, so any suggestions are welcome.
