  • I hate bills and E-pay all that comes at me. Late fees are horrible. I knock them out ASAP. I'm not the kind of guy to wonder why the lights are out because I hesitated paying the electric bill. Bills are like bowel movements. No one likes them but they are a fact of life. If you spend your time reading something in the John you just might accrue a late fee. In layman's terms I use the Larry the Cable Guy approach: Er gets done.
  • I pay everything via credit card and I pay my credit card off (online) a few days before the due date. I figure that I can make a few cents more of interest in my savings account by waiting the extra 3 weeks as well as the little bit of cash back from using my credit card on other bills. :) I don't charge more than I can afford and have a decent "go to hell" (emergency) fund, so I'm fairly set.
  • I pay everything I can by Direct Debit so the bank takes care of it.
  • i pay my bills as soon as they pop through my letterbox. ive actually been known to telephone the company if my bills are late to ask for them to be sent to me as soon as possible. i hate oweing money to anyone.
  • I pay my mortgage first since that takes up the bulk of my income and I have invested too much in this house to lose it. After that I pay what I can and what I can't gets put off to another time.
  • I either pay all my bills by direct debit or set up a payment from my bank on the Internet as soon as they arrive.
