  • If you truly do not have control of your own mind seek medical attention, your doctor, pastor or trusted friend. Best person is a Doctor!!!
  • When am drunk
  • Start slapping my face until I wrestle some control back over my faculties. I know what you are saying. I have experienced some really bad toothaches that made me feel as though I was loosing my mind. It's a scary feeling and no fun at all. I do what it takes to get control back. After a heavy night of drinking it feels like I am losing my mind as well which as you no is the epitome of fear. All those rebelling brain cells getting angry at me for the abuse I put them through the night before.
  • Go to a dark, quiet, secluded room and just spend time away from everyone and everything else. Sometimes you just need to quiet your mind and de-stress a bit in order to take back your sanity. (Which is why I am taking this Friday off work-for the sake of my sanity!)
  • I would ask some questions: Is this a long term problem or has there been a sudden onset? Have you sought and received professional help in the past? Is this a philosophical/existential question or do you feel really out of control? Is it so extreme that you are a danger to yourself and others? if so, get to the Emergency room NOW! Can you rate the severity of this? It will help you determine whether you need to talk with a professional today or if you can make an appointment for next week. What you describe seems like a very serious, but treatable biological problem. Once you get the medical help you need, we can offer some life management suggestions.
  • Relax to get my mind off the problem or exercise.
