  • Absolutely. i was a disc jokey at several radio stations in Nashville, back in the 60s. i had many friends, at other radio stations, but did not have a clue what they looked like. you can hear their voice on the radio and your in-mind impressions of their physical build, is entirely different, than the real person. A great example is Wolfman Jack. to hear his voice, without knowing his physical characteristics, you would think he was a very small person with a big voice. not so. Wolfman Jack was a big person with a big voice. Voices can be deceiving. sometimes its good. sometimes its surprising.
  • Definitely! I had lots of conversations with people on AB and no clue what they looked like, most people didn't look anything like how I imagined. I don't get so easily surprised anymore, but it's still there sometimes.
