Yes, not very many wins this yr..

He should be held to the same accountability as Willingham was.

No, of course not its not his fault that around half of his team graduated. In about 2 years they will be just as good as they were before. Every team has its good years and bad years and you can't blame the head coach for that. No ones perfect.

No way. I said this statement alot last season "Believe in Charlie!" The thing to remember is that last year was the product of 2 really bad recruiting classes. Willingham did not recruit very well at all his last year there. Weiss was really able to recruit his first year because he was a little busy winning a super bowl. However, he has had two really good classes in a row now and I think we will start to see the dividends.

Yes. Unfortunately, in college football, coaches need to win. Even when they win, they might get fired. It's the way it works when so much money is on the line. Noter Dame needs to win, plain and simple or they lose the TV money. The will not let that happen.

He has a lot of work to do. That is a very hard college to recruit for. They have high academic standards, not so with so many other colleges who are mills for athletes. I'm not sure but there are also religious standards that might have to be met.

I think they should terminate his contract at the end of this season. They can't beat teams with a winning percentage.

Notre Dame should wait it out one more year. Weis has done an outstanding job with recruiting. As a lifelong Irish fan, I felt that a solid goal for this year would be eight wins. This is almost certain to not happen, but next year should be the true year of judgment for Coach Weis' career. Next year, he will have a well seasoned quarterback who should be very well integreated into the game, and ready to lead the Irish back to glory. As it is this year, they should be able to earn a bowl bid, and may very well have their best chance at winning a bowl game in many years.
