• Recognize you are part of a team and the team is only as strong as its weakest link. You should be helping those that aren't as good become better. Its not just about you.

  • In American Football, the quarterback should be the one to give the ball to the running back during play, not the coach.
  • Do what the play calls for and never let one man bring you down when you do get the ball.
  • Ask him what you can do to get better. If he's not giving you the ball, there's probably a reason. When he tells you what you need to do to improve do it. Go above and beyond what he tells you. Make sure he knows you're doing it. As you master that skill, ask what else you can do to get better. And so forth. Ultimately, he will see your hard work and improvement.
  • Be a good blocker and protect the QB.
  • Be a great blocker.
