Theres this girl at my school i like,i've never talked to her yet, but i've often tried making eye contact with her. Problem is she looks away when i look at her. She is shy, i can tell, but is she avoiding me cuz she doesnt like me, or because she's shy?

There's only one way to find out. Stop being shy yourself and make a move. Ask her to lunch. You'll find out a lot sooner doing that than asking us to figure out the psyschology of a woman. Won't happen here or ever, lol.

STOP SITTING ON THE COMPUTER AND GO TALK TO HER!!!! YOU'RE FIRST CLUE ABOUT WHAT TO DO IN THIS SITUATION IS THAT YOU THINK SHE IS SHY!!!! Go talk to her, say hi every once in a while, smile, be polite, hold the classroom door open for her, try to show her that you like her.... Geez, for Heaven's sake! Do SOMETHING!!!!!!!!

Lol, makes me think of myself. She tried making eye contact, went to talk to me... (made me fall in love with her even more) I kept avoiding her. Not only that, I also acted stern towards her and said some things I didn't really mean. *sighs* Thing is I kinda knew she didn't like me... I want to apologize so much now. But it seems like she's starting or she started to dislike me. Yup, that's my share. :) Good luck!

hmmm difficult, normally if people avoid your eye contact that does normally mean bacl of im not interested, but if she is as shy as you say, the best thinhg to do is either confront her yourself, or if you cant face that, sorry but goto her friends, they are the best source of information for a girl, they will let you know straight away what is going on, whilst letting you save face....a bit

Well, she's no doubt shy. We know that so far. That means she won't make the move to talk to you, so go talk to her. Especially if she has no friends in your class.

i think the only way to find out is talking to her. If i was you i would probably have the same question. Once you talk to her you will find out.

She's probably just really shy! Try bringing up a conversation with her about school or something she might be comfortable talking about. She's obviously not the first to start a conversation so you need to step up and talk to her first!

She may not even know you exist, try saying something to her and observing from there.
