I suppose your answer if they are going to be against the current view could start with....."do you think you/if/they........whatever? then it is the questioner who will be answering their question and you may not be penalised for an answer you never actually gave :)

People who know you and have seen you answers know you don't do it for the points...er... I mean that in a nice way honest :-) You have a great reputation and should keep you name AND your points, you deserve them :-)

The people who committed Badgicide did it via asking for the staff in the blog to reset their points level to zero. However, emailing admin@answerbag.com would probably be a more appropriate way to go about it. The need for Badgicide was somewhat eliminated with the sliding scale points system though, and the most notorious people who partook have either left or quit doing it. It's now possible to give or detract how many points you think someone deserves. At the time, you could only uprate or downrate somebody, always your maximum. Stableboy wrote an entire answer on the experiment that led him to Badgicide. I can't find the link, maybe he'll chip in with it. Or you could ask him if you're interested :)
