  • I think so -- all religions have complex theoretical foundations -- I don't think you can reduce that foundation to a single point of belief, like is he or isn't he the son of god. many people believe we are all children of god, so there's nothing special about jesus being a child of god too. Because it's all theory, and none of it can be proved, I'd say no religion is the correct religion. You have to believe in what you believe in, and do what's right for you -- but that doesn't make it correct for everybody.
  • No. Most simply speaking, you are missing the possibility that both are wrong. I think Parsley covers the multiple beliefs angle quite well. 97% of the religions on this Earth say nothing about Jesus, btw. I can only think of two offhand that do: Christianity and Islam.
  • Natives may worship a crocodile or a snake, are they wrong? No, they believe in a God-like figure so they follow the course of their "religion" and theoretically should still go to heaven.
  • There are worthwhile elements in all spiritual traditions, except maybe the Aztec heart-ripping-out religion. I believe that the dogmas don't matter, that beliefs you hold in your head don't matter (except that if you feel that you're a lowly unworthy worm, or think that you need physical wealth to be happy, that's distinctly unhelpful in your search for God. I believe that what's important is your communion with God, realization of your oneness with God, and the resultant love, peace, and joy you experience and direct outwards to the world.
