Most songs that I associate with a relationship were played by an ex or that I attributed to the relationship. "Away" by Athenaeum took on new personal meaning to me after an abusive relationship. "Wish You Were Here" by Pink Floyd was "our song" in a long distance relationship. "Promise Me" by The Birthday Massacre was "our song" for another relationship.
