There's a Trappist monastery only a couple of hours away, my wife tells me; I'd love to do a retreat there. My new job has normal hours and is 100 times better than my old one, but I still just don't do enough for myself or have enough Blob-time. My kids are young enough that they're all over me when I come home, which is great, but sometimes you can only play with cars with a 3-year-old for a few hours before it starts to get old. It'll be 3-4 years before I start accumulating vacation time to do it; currently my vacation time is all dedicated to visiting my elderly mom in the Chicago area.
