  • Even though it is a simple state park in Oregon, I liked Beverely Beach because the location near the coast is great and it has enough things to do in the areas for a day or two.
  • Almost anyplace in Canada, especially in British Columbia. Each campground is a jewel. There is plenty of space, usually there is firewood and a kitchen shelter, some with wood stoves. They are so clean and trash cans everywhere so everything is really tidy. There are rest areas about every 50 miles along the highways so you can easily pace yourself as you drive. I know it's weird to say that your favorite camping place is a whole province , but it's true:-) And it goes for the Yukon and NWT, too
  • Galeanda is pretty right on....one of the greatest places is Banff National Park in the Canadian Rockies. Gorgeous. The mountains aren't quite as high as they are in Colorado but they are all glaciated and unique shapes. Very very impressive. That is one of my favorites.
