More difficult trying to be good :)
-
It is more difficult to try to be ethical. This balances the needs of the self with the needs of others. Sin is an Abrahamic concept.
-
Not at all. I'm sure most people have trouble not saying God's name in vain or some of the other easy ones such as lying. I'm sure a lot of answers here aren't completely true.
-
No, with a lot of people they decide what their idea of sin is at any convenient time to themselves making it very easy not to sin.
-
First, a person has to believe in sin. Once a person has established their ethical and moral values, and they truely beleive in them, it should be easy.

It’s difficulty lies not in trying “not to sin”, but in get rid of guilt and accepting the fact that no matter what you do, seams it’s never good enough… That is a great discourager of keeping with it (doing good things). Concentrate on things (and do them) which make you feel good, things that nourish your soul, by meeting needs of others. For sin to get hold of you and to grow it needs your cooperation, (you can’t sin by accident). If you do not cooperate, (yield to temptation) you will be left alone eventually. Satan is interested in willing and obedient participants only. You will see that your temptations will wean to the point you will be able to laugh at it… Also, keeping in mind, in order to sin, one must know God, or else, who are you sinning against? If you don’t know God, let the Law of the land be your guide. Without knowledge and submission to God, one is guided by law of the land and moral code/ethics of the Individual. Although, there may be an instance where the Law and sin are parallel on an issue, like murder, adultery etc… or quite differ, like homosexuality, neglecting one’s parents etc… are all acts of sin, yet they are not against the Law.

what is "sin"?
-
Living righteously is not difficult if the Holy Spirit dwells in you.
-
No, not sinning gets easier with practice. Sin is habit forming. That is why the seven deadly sins are called deadly: + Lust (inappropriate desire) + Gluttony (over-indulgence) + Greed (avarice) + Sloth (laziness) + Wrath (anger) + Envy (jealousy) + Pride (vanity) Not sinning is also habit forming. This is called the development of virtues. Here are the seven holy virtues that oppose the seven deadly sins: + Chastity (purity) + Moderation (self-restraint) + Generosity (vigilance) + Zeal (enthusiasm) + Meekness (composure) + Charity (giving) + Humility (humbleness) With love in Christ.
