Wow, uh...90 mph. I'm a maniac, maniac...that's for sure!
-
Probably near 105MPH
-
about 165-170 in my twin turbo eclipse
-
137 in a (wait for it... wait for it...) Subaru Hatchback. Got pulled over too. Now there is a funny story. 145 on motorcycle.
-
I topped mine at 126 mph. 2005 Ford Crowne Victoria.
-
162mph. Lamborghini murcialago
-
I was going a little over 100 in a chevy cavalier. I had bought it just 2 days before and wanted to see what it had and couldn't take it on the interstate because here they are swarmed with cops(the speed limit is only forty mph anyways). I got pulled over=P the officer was "nice" enough to only give me a ticket for my address not being changed on my DL which was 75 dollars. THATS GREAT compared to the jail sentence I could have been serving for wreckless driving. I was on a 3 mile long bridge where the speed limit at the time was 35 mph with doubled speeding tickets
-
145 in a 1986 pre production prototype Buick Grand National. Was on a test track.
-
I did 130 in my old 1977 Datsun 280Z :)
-
LMAO...I'm gonna fight the urge. Plus my insurance will be going up enough already...D@mn I hate being young!
-
Around 135. 1967 Olds Cutlass Convertable 330 c.i.d. 11.5 to 1 compression.
-
I did 168 Mph in a Porsche 996 Carrera 2 on the German Autobahn, where it's legal. It was 2 in the morning and the road was more or less free. Pretty nice adrenaline rush!
-
I think I accidently got up to 95 once...it was my car and as soon as I realized I was going that fast, I did slow down.
-
110 mph in an El Camino of all things.
-
120mph on the German autobahn. 130 on a motorcycle.
-
I was daydreaming when I notice that I was doing 85 on I-64, getting close to Newport News, VA. It was my car, one 1987 Ford Escort.
-
120, Mustang Roush, My bosses car..:)
-
About 120 on some racetrack in my buddies beefed up Honda thing.
-
About 95. In a Saturn SL1
-
They clocked me at 148. It was a old super bee. I was in it a few days before with another driver. And they said we we're moving near 160.......
-
Ford Crown Victoria, police intercepter. Running down a speeder, going 124 mph. My max. "catch-up" speed was 141 mph. State Citation cost him $1,200.00
-
My Audi is pretty fast - I've had it past 100 a few times, but it's most fun when I'm accelerating onto the freeway, the turbos kick in nicely :)
-
"1969 Chevy El Camino' 325hp 327 engine, 4 speed, pos., Not really fast and I treated it good.
-
Lancia Zagato - didn't tear it up as the owner was in the passenger seat. He was nice enough to let me try it out!
-
A 59 Ford Galaxy 500 XL. I used to drive it at 110 mph on the highway.
-
i wont know until i find it and if that time comes you can bet your farm that i am gonna tear it up☺
-
A 1972 S.S. Chevelle that was FAR from being stock . It was scary fast ! ;-)
-
I've driven a new Hemi Charger, a 2002 Camaro SS, a 2005 Subaru WRX STI. None of them were my cars so I didn't tear it up. Cars aren't as fun for going fast as motorbikes. I've had my way with a Honda CBR600RR, Triumph Tiger 955 and a Kawasaki kz1000 from the early 80s.
-
a 81 lotus esprit, 140mph in 4th ran out of track long before running out of car
-
When I turned 16 my dad bought me a v8 350 '68 firebird. He had it going 180mph. The fastest I got it up to was 130mph. I was too scared to go faster because it didn't have seat belts.
-
probably my old 1972 Datsun 280z (v-8)... 130mph- and it had plenty of room for more, but I found that *I* didn't. I've become much more comfy with speed as I've gotten older... I routinely drive my lil Miata between 85-90 on the freeway - often push to 100... not a prob. Oddly, even though I'm okay with driving a tiny car at unsafe speeds, I'm no longer okay with doing backflips off a diving board... isn't life strange?
-
A 2007 Corvette at the auto show. The guy in the passengers seat told me "You can drive it as fast as you want, just stay in the cones." He was a little nerveous while I was driving, so hell yes I did. =P You can't give me that kind of freedom and expect me not to take advantage of it.
-
I think it was 90 or 95 on the highway...and it was my car. :)
-
In 1963 I got a new Corvette for my 20th birthday. I got it up to 132 according to the speedometer, which read up to 150 as I recall. I only did it once; it was kind of scarey. I drove that car for 13 years; a great American car!!!
-
110 MPH. Not very impressive, I know, but keep in mind it was a Toyota Corolla. I was driving north through Vermont and there was a long stretch of flat road, no other cars around, and no visible place for a cop to hide out for at least a mile ahead. I felt a little crazy and decided to see if my little 4-cylinder could break 100. It was fun, but kind of scary, and I never did it again after that.
-
more than 1000 KM/hr in ma dreamz...
-
115 in a 4 banger 1999 Dodge Avenger. I only did it once, I didn't think the car could have done it again.
-
Somewhere between 110 and 120 for a stretch on I95 but only for about two miles. Didn't want to get arrested and spend the night in jail. Just wanted to see what the car could do. I think the speedometer went to 180, which never made sense to me. Anyway, it was a smooth ride at that speed.
-
speedometer stoped at 120 and it was there, man what a rush!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
155mph in a Subaru Impreza, scary stuff
-
I went 157mph in a Ferrari 550 Maranello. My uncle and I were out just cruising around in this monster and he let me open her up on the highway. I am definitely getting one of those babies when I get rich.
-
On the road... 230kph (about 140mph) in a series 5 Mazda RX-7 twin turbo. Possibly faster as a passenger in my friend's HQ Monaro. I didn't get a look a the speedo and he wouldn't tell me how fast he'd been going. On the track... don't know, but it was damned fast (car didn't have a speedometer).
-
I honestly don't know. The speedometer only goes to 150 mph. I was stopped once going over 130 and was not given a ticket. Too bad so many American's have lost their balls and probably truly believe that we are all bad people that should be locked up.
-
160 mph 1978 trans am
-
My car. A 1994 Dodge Spirit. I was doing 110 mph.
-
The fastest i've driven was 105mph. but I have a friend who races her car (she has a mazda 6 speed with turbo and all this other stuff done to it) and she took me on a ride once and we were going about 135 mph which was sooo fast to me.lol
-
198 in a Porsche 996 turbo; wish the car was mine, though.
-
1971 Custom Coupe Impala 193 MPH
-
I bought an Acura Integra and on the way home had the needle buried. Speedometer went to 160 and it was well past that, so I'd guess about 170-175. THe car was totaled 4 months later when I was T-boned by a big Chevy truck that ran a red light. :(
-
I do have a ticket for 168 back in the 70's in Alabama in a 72 factory built roadrunner.

-
Does Mach 1 in a jet count ?? just don't aske me to take off or land the damn things.. If not ~145 MPH in a 67 supercharged chevy Impala with a 409 engine .. ~Nemo~

-
135-140 on a Crotch Rocket. I didnt look down much to tell you if it went any higher.
-
I was in my mates ford xr3i and he was going 120mph down a motorway a few years back
-
132 in a '67 Cougar.
-
Over 120 in a Nissan Sentra, it was downhill in Montana back when there wasn't a daytime speedlimit. And the needle pegged at 120.
-
I was in a car once with a missionary companion who was doing near 80 on a main road in Saugus California. Guess he forgot he wasn't home drag racing at the Bonneville Salt Flats.
-
110 on the motorway
-
90 to 95 down the highway! It is a wonder i did not get a ticket.
-
The fastest I've ever been wasn't in a car, but on a motorcycle. I used to have an FJ1200 that could do 165mph.
-
He got me at 85 pace. But the speed limit on I-95 at the time was capped at 55. Thus 30mph over the limit is Reckless Driving in Virginia. The only reason I got 85 is my speedometer peaks at 85. I was pegged and probably doing well over 100. Younger days with fast cars. Now I mostly care about the mpg or towing power.
-
Once drove 98 MPH in pursuit of a wanted felon . +5
-
I do not drive my Jeep fast on the road, but I have gotten my track car up to somewhere between 136 and 140 on my best lap at a track. It's hard to drive that fast and look at the speedometer. It's funny how that was my best time but compared to some other drivers that day I didn't seem fast at all.
-
Caution and defensive driving always comes first. In a high speed police chase, i have had my Crown Vic up to 140 mph. On the interstate in pursuit of a wanted serial killer.
-
Over 125 miles per hr. The speedometer needle went below 125 and hit the peg. I caught up to another car that was traveling 125 by his speedometer.
-
120 MPH legally, on Germany's Autobahn Highway, between Frankfurt and Munich, a trip of around 400 miles, that I made in less than 4 hours in 1976. +5
-
I took a Mercedes CLK55 AMG up to 165mph on the Silverstone F1 track, which is funny cos it supposed to be limited to 155mph.
-
The fastest i have driven is 140 kilometer per hour.
-
The speedometer on my old Lincoln went up to 120 and I buried it one night.
