  • Jet Li, Because he just is. you should check out the movie coming soon with him in it. its called WAR. looks awesome! he plays a crim and is good at it thats why for me.
  • Bruce Lee. Jet Li uses effects for a lot of his work, or at least he used to. Bruce Lee was a philosopher and created a new fighting style called Jeet Kune Do, and was practially flawless for Bruce. People challenged him in real life, and they never won with his new style. Just imagine what he could've done if he didn't die so young.
  • Neither...............Inspector Cleauseau's nemesis Cato. Seriously, would Bruce Lee or Jet Li wait in a frig all day to train and attack their master?
  • I appreciate both of them. I can't name one better. They each shared so much with people and were/are great for different reasons. Bruce Lee did find his own style and used it effective. Just pure speed and strength like a bullet without a gun. And he had high ideals, in his movies never having Chinese as bad guys, only other nationalities misusing Chinese people.. But the training and schooling and competition of Jet Li, even with some of his movie work with wires and such, cannot take away his great skills with just about every weapon, was a child prodigy in martial arts and learned to combine Tai Chi with Wushu. He was named "National Treasure" in China before he was 18 yrs. old. He is someone that every martial artist can aspire to, along with Bruce Lee.
  • Jet Li. Although Gordon Liu has merit... I think Jet being older than Bruce was when he died, (or was killed- but I won't get into that here)has honed his craft to a more refined one.
  • Bruce Lee. He was revolutionary, changing the way the western world viewed Eastern martial arts. Also, he was so fast one could not get a picture of him without a blur. That merits respect. And the 0% body fat. Heck, for a little Chinese dude, Bruce Lee was dead sexy.
  • Lee Jun Fan (Bruce Lee). He laid the foundations for the new world's modern martial arts and its spread to its current popular and much less restricted spreading and instruction. Prior to Bruce Lee, martial arts were much less popular and far more restricted. There were much more racial predjedices and many of the world's martial arts would only be taught to people of the "right" race. Bruce's role as "Kato" in the ground breaking TV show, "The Green Hornet", introduced the world to Chinese Kung Fu, and the rest is history ... into which Jet Li entered and thrives ...
  • Bruce Lee, the first real Asian "Super Hero". He also emphasized Marital Arts as a way of life.
  • Both are great but I would have to rank Bruce Lee as "first among equals" -- he broke a lot of new ground in martial arts. And he made it his mission to gain acceptance of himself as his own individual.
  • Jet Li. He was a cleaner fighter and his movies did not have a lot of unnecessary and excessive violence. Bruce Lee sometimes came off as a "psycho" who liked to engage in overkill. He was also a lousy actor who could not weld the two (acting and fighting) together.
  • Bruce Lee was a serious martial artist .. Jet Li is just an actor with fancy moves
  • Id have to go with Bruce and his legacy. It's eeri how his son, Brandon also was shot while filming "The Crow"
  • I appreciate them both as martial artist... Jet Li more so
  • Bruce Lee. Both were amazing fighters, but Bruce accomplished a lot more in the world of martial arts and in the world in general. He popularized martial arts in the west, tore down Hollywood stereotypes of asians not being to be a lead in films (Jet Li wouldn't have a Hollywood career if it weren't for Bruce), and in general he knocked down a lot of doors in entertainment and society, breaking down social rules - like marrying interracially at a time when it simply wasn't supposed to be done. Bruce was awesome. RIP.
  • and what about Tony Jaa? If you don't know who he is , go to you tube and find his movies trilers... He has few movies, he's from Thailand and quentin Tarantino found him. He is incredible and fights with a strange thai martial art. Once you see him I'm sure you will try to see his movies. The protector and Ong Bak 2 are the best ones.
