No but most people are convinced their religion is the true "religion"...sad isn't it?
-
No. Religion is a faith and by definition could only ever be proved if a God like being truly showed himself and done something amazing, which has never happened.
-
There is no way to prove or disprove God. As their is no way to prove or disprove the big bang theory. They remain in debate of a subject both sides know the others just will not accept, in which case it falls right back to faith on both sides. I find it ironic how both sides demand proof when they themselves can't prove their own theories. So rather you choose one side of the fence or the other can only be determined by how each person feels is best for them. I think rather than have an battle no one can win it is best to agree to disagree and call a truce. Live and let live.
-
If there were any way to prove religion, there would be only one religion, and it wouldn't be religion, it would be fact. Religion depends on faith, which beans belief in that which cannot be proved.
-
Not intellectually. Just my 2 cents, I think you can "prove" it to your own satisfaction, with lots of practice and dedication, by "meditating" - being still and discerning the presence of God / the Allness / the Oneness. But I call this more like "communion" or "oneness with" instead of workship. If person 1 claims to have done so and believes in A, B, & C, and person 2 also claims to have done so and believes in C, D, & E, I personally look at which beliefs are loving, accepting, open, creative, giving, and nonjudgmental. If A-E all pass these tests, then I conclude that the intellectual beliefs don't really matter.

No, because I do not believe for one minute that ONE way is the right way. I am not a fan of religion. I have faith and that means more to me than being a part of some organization. I work on my relationship with whom I choose to place my faith in .. I pray for others but my faith is my own and not a group. It is one on one with Jesus. I do not believe there is a perfect way to worship any more than I believe there is a perfect person here doing the worship. I believe in Jesus and when someone tells me they do not.. I just say ok. I mean what more can I say? That is their business.. I let them handle it like I expect others to leave me to handle my personal business. He does not want me to use Him in anger or to be against someone. I am responsible for my life only. I struggle to live as I believe I should but I do believe in Him. I will not use Him as a weapon against someone else's personal right to their own faith/s. I have friends who do not believe in Jesus and we get along fine. I believe faith is personal.. if you can fellowship with like minded people.. wonderful.. because I do believe we need fellowship.. but not every person in one congregation believes everything the exact same.. WE DO NOT KNOW ALL OF THE ANSWERS so to sit and argue when none of us know exactly, is pointless. My best friend and I believe along the same lines.. some we do not.. and often .. we just say "I do not know!" because we do not know everything and people need to learn that it is OK to not know! Pretending or making yourself think you know it all and only your religion is correct .. is very foolish. I believe they are failing a very big test.. the test of character AND faith.. because I believe He wants us to love even with differences. There are no luggage racks on a hearse.. people are not dying and coming back to tell us what is what.. so I believe we are meant to treat each other with love irregardless of religion, race or any other trivial issue that seperates us. No one is perfect in any religion and I abhor those who say only their religion is the RIGHT religion. Bull. My belief is that He wants us to accept each other and not crucify each other.

I would say the one that rose from the dead, would be (and is) my choice. Here are some scripture as why... Hosea 6:2 After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight. Hosea 6:1-3 (in Context) Hosea 6 (Whole Chapter) Matthew 16:21 From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day. Matthew 16:20-22 (in Context) Matthew 16 (Whole Chapter) Matthew 17:23 And they shall kill him, and the third day he shall be raised again. And they were exceeding sorry. Matthew 17:22-24 (in Context) Matthew 17 (Whole Chapter) Matthew 20:19 And shall deliver him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify him: and the third day he shall rise again. Matthew 20:18-20 (in Context) Matthew 20 (Whole Chapter) Matthew 27:64 Command therefore that the sepulchre be made sure until the third day, lest his disciples come by night, and steal him away, and say unto the people, He is risen from the dead: so the last error shall be worse than the first. Matthew 27:63-65 (in Context) Matthew 27 (Whole Chapter) Mark 9:31 For he taught his disciples, and said unto them, The Son of man is delivered into the hands of men, and they shall kill him; and after that he is killed, he shall rise the third day. Mark 9:30-32 (in Context) Mark 9 (Whole Chapter) Mark 10:34 And they shall mock him, and shall scourge him, and shall spit upon him, and shall kill him: and the third day he shall rise again. Mark 10:33-35 (in Context) Mark 10 (Whole Chapter) Luke 9:22 Saying, The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be slain, and be raised the third day. Luke 9:21-23 (in Context) Luke 9 (Whole Chapter) Luke 13:32 And he said unto them, Go ye, and tell that fox, Behold, I cast out devils, and I do cures to day and to morrow, and the third day I shall be perfected. Luke 13:31-33 (in Context) Luke 13 (Whole Chapter) Luke 18:33 And they shall scourge him, and put him to death: and the third day he shall rise again. Luke 18:32-34 (in Context) Luke 18 (Whole Chapter) Luke 24:7 Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again. Luke 24:6-8 (in Context) Luke 24 (Whole Chapter) Luke 24:21 But we trusted that it had been he which should have redeemed Israel: and beside all this, to day is the third day since these things were done. Luke 24:20-22 (in Context) Luke 24 (Whole Chapter) Luke 24:46 And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behooved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: Luke 24:45-47 (in Context) Luke 24 (Whole Chapter) John 2:1 And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there: John 2:1-3 (in Context) John 2 (Whole Chapter) Acts 10:40 Him God raised up the third day, and shewed him openly; Acts 10:39-41 (in Context) Acts 10 (Whole Chapter) Acts 27:19 And the third day we cast out with our own hands the tackling of the ship. Acts 27:18-20 (in Context) Acts 27 (Whole Chapter) 1 Corinthians 15:4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: 1 Corinthians 15:3-5 (in Context) 1 Corinthians 15 (Whole Chapter) Also, the one that God talked about when he thundered, “This is my Son, listen to Him” Matthew 3:17 And a voice from heaven said, "This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased." Matthew 3:16-17 (in Context) Matthew 3 (Whole Chapter) Matthew 17:5 While he was still speaking, a bright cloud enveloped them, and a voice from the cloud said, "This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. Listen to him!" Matthew 17:4-6 (in Context) Matthew 17 (Whole Chapter) Mark 9:7 Then a cloud appeared and enveloped them, and a voice came from the cloud: "This is my Son, whom I love. Listen to him!" Mark 9:6-8 (in Context) Mark 9 (Whole Chapter) Luke 9:35 A voice came from the cloud, saying, "This is my Son, whom I have chosen; listen to him." Luke 9:34-36 (in Context) Luke 9 (Whole Chapter) 2 Peter 1:17 For he received honor and glory from God the Father when the voice came to him from the Majestic Glory, saying, "This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased." 2 Peter 1:16-18 (in Context) 2 Peter 1 (Whole Chapter) This scripture is from the Bible (KJV), although it’s all there, unless you know in your heart that what you are reading is true (by Faith) you are already (or still)dead. It also helps to keep in mind that scripture quotes the following, if you understand this scripture, and do this, you have your answer… James 1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world. James 1:26-27 (in Context) James 1 (Whole Chapter)

I think only when we die and if there's a heaven then we will really know the truth to this question. However, I must say I do believe there is a God and I do pray, but I don't attend a church or religious congregation.
-
Yes, you must study it (meaning what it is you truly want to believe is truth.) Not just, read but study, ponder, think, meditate and come to a decision. Once you have made a decision about something, then you take that decision to the Lord and ask him if what you have decided is true. If it is, you will have a burning in your bosom and you will know with certainty. If it is not true, you will have a stupor of thought. It might take hours, days, months to study the believe, then it might take hours, days and months to pray. If you have a stupor of thought then go back to square one and begin again. Truth is truth and the Lord will tell you. Caution, never go to the Lord and ask what is the truth, follow the steps as outline above and you will know.

The thing is, religions were made thousands of years ago, and someone made up rules on how to do it. Over the years these rules have been passed down by word of mouth (remember the game where you whisper in someone's ear and go around the room and how the last person hears something completely different!), or the rules have been translated, and many things were changed to fit different people's/group's needs. In fact, the rules were made to fit some ancient ruler's wants and needs! Religion is in your mind and your heart, and the only correct way to worship is the way that feels right to each individual. It's a shame that so many feel that that means causing harm to others.
-
Nope. That's the beauty of it all!
-
Well, you could ask God yourself. That being said, the presumption that there is a God, and that He desires worship (which in the Bible means loving service, obedience, and respect, not standing singing His praises or kneeling confessing your sins and asking for blessings) automatically rules out Buddhism, Confucianism, and popular pagan (as opposed to mystical monotheistic) Hinduism. Islam, Mormonism, Unitarianism and all Christianesque cults have some pretty sound compelling knockdown proofs against them just on matters of history, so the choice becomes one between Judaism and Christianity, and among their various schools/sects/and denominations. The problem is many a wise, devout, inteligent, even brilliant individual has looked at the facts and claims of each and come to different conclusions. For every knowledgable educated Catholic who converted to Protestantism, I can name another knowledgable educated Protestant who converted to Catholicism, and almost as many who've said nix to both and become Eastern Orthodox after a life of study and service in one of the western denominations. The same holds true for Christian-to-Judaism and Judaism-to-Christianity, and within each from one sect to another. So study, pray, think, listen to your heart, and make your own choice.

Nope.

Truth by definition is exclusive. So, the answer is yes.

most religions are designed to help you live good wholesome lives so most all religions are the right one.
