  • Single handedly campaigned for Traffic lights to be put up at the busy local intersection so children could cross the road safely to get to school. Was in the newspaper and the TV.
  • I remember when i was about 10 years old myself and a friend had a jumble sale outside my house,all the money we raised we gave to the Guide Dogs for the Blind we ended up in the newspaper.

  • I used to volunteer at a home for the severely mentally handicapped. I'd like to volunteer to teach English as a second language, but I can't work it around my work schedule.
  • For 18 months I took many many landfill sacks outside of shops, recycled the contents properly, gave stuff to charity, got 25 shops to take up cardboard recycling and in the same year planted hundreds of trees. In the end the council jumped on me and put a stop to it, but the change in attitudes with shopkeepers was already done. Even now years on, the 25 shops dont put cardboard in landfill.
