I did that yesterday. It wasnt food but a piece of ice and I had just mopped the floor like an hour before that.
-
I do it all the time... That's how i eat everyday... I spend my days looking for scraps on the ground.. The same thing with gum... I looooove gum... I usually find it on the bottoms of tables and chairs...
-
If I can wash it off, I will eat it. If it cannot be washed, it gets thrown away.
-
my pet doesn't mind. If its something dry that falls on the floor and the dirt can be blown or cleaned off then i'll eat it willingly
-
Yes, but only in my own home - I know how clean the floors are there.
-
Hehe, a Yorkshire pudding last Sunday, it was only on the floor for a sec and was clean...I think :-p
-
I abide by the 2 second rule in my own home. Except if I drop it in the bathroom. Then its considered garbage. Anything outside my home fahgetaboutit....
-
yes, but it depends on the consistency of the food item. The gooier the less likely I would eat. Being of course the gooiness will pick up lots of gross stuff. Bananas however have a tough exterior. Its a play by play occurrence.
-
sure, dropped my medication looking all for it,found it in the corner, always the corners.
-
Sure but it does depend on what is dropped and what the floor is like...on an average cleanish floor I apply the 10 second rule...the 5 second rule but tests have shown that up to 30 seconds is okay - but I'll stick to 10 seconds...and besides if I can't get to it in 10 seconds it is fair game for the dogs...who apparently have never heard of this rule but watch me to see if I notice before pouncing!
-
Yup. In my house, there's a five second rule, anyone elses a two second rule. Unless I'm drunk and having a sneaky smoke...then it takes as long as it takes to pick the darn thing up
-
yes, i respect food too much coz its a blessing of God so i dont waste until its uneatable! If it is clean, i would eat it!
-
only a few tablets but ive dropped my other halfs toast on the floor and still gave it to him lol.
