Question for the high school types: I just caught a group of high school boys (I live by a high school) smoking a cigar that smelled like a combination of cheap cigar and pot. It this a new trend to try to hide or mask the smell of them getting high?

It is common for people to cut open a cigar and remove the tobacco and replace it with pot. So I would assume that it's not to far of a stretch to say that they left some of the tobacco in for just that reason.

My friends and I often times make spliffs, which are made from cigarettes, and are just filled with half tobacco from the cigarettes and half weed. They are kinda frustrating and difficult to make, so I can definitely see kids just using a cigar. Spliffs are really convenient for parties, concerts, work...They fit in a cigarette pack, there is no worrying about carrying a piece, the tobacco smell helps mask the illegal marijuana smell. Basically, spliffs help the smoker to be incognito~

Called a blunt usuually, not really hiding it so much as having more room for the marijuana, ...theres not alot of room in a rolling paper, so they fill up a blunt or a cigar....
