One of my friends dated, and eventually married, someone from the opposite coast: she in New Jersey, he in California.

my boyfriend lives 2and a half hours north of me. we see each other only in the weekend, but we are already 5 years together like this. its not easy, but its possible. i will be glad when its over in February. then we are moving in together. my studies will finally be done then.

Two hours is not to far to drive for love. My wife lived two hours away when we were both in our first two years of college (before we were married). We became engaged during that time, wrote letters (People actually used to do that), talked on pay phones (People did that), and visited by way of Greyhound and Trailways busses. Today is our 32nd wedding anniversary ... so i guess it worked out.
