  • Your body could be running low on a crutial vitamin, or you could be stressed. 8 hours is the average amount of sleep, that isn't just for everyone. Try getting more sleep or take a vitamin suppliment.
  • It is impossible to say from your question. It could be as simple as the fact that your mattress is old and should be replaced. However, many serious medical conditions can have non-restorative sleep as one of the symptoms, including such things as fibromyalgia. I would advise you to see your family doctor ASAP as these conditions do not usually go away on their own .
  • Well, you could just ne3d more or less sleep. 8 hr is "average",but I myself need less. My cousin needs 9 and one half hr,yet we are both fully rested by the time we wake up.
  • I thought it was normal to feel tired in the morning. I need at least ten to not feel tired. If I get eight hours of sleep, I feel very tired. Maybe it's cause I'm still growing.
  • I was going through the same thing last year so much that every day I had to take vivarin with my coffee before I could function. I finally saw a doctor who gave me a complete examination & found nothing physically wrong with me. After she asked me a long list of various questions, I was diagnosed with severe depression. The anti-depressants worked very well for about 8-9 months. When I went in for a follow-up, my blood pressure was way too high (it had never been high before). I have also started having strange mood swings, over-reacting, & getting mad for no reason. Now they are afraid a mood disorder (specifically bipolar disorder II) was misdiagnosed as depression. I think they are just looking for something wrong because they don't know what it really is. All of this started a year ago because I had such a hard time getting up in the morning.
  • i have been on vicoden for over a year and i really believe that is what is causing my fatigue. After I take a few in the a.m. then i am more awake. I hope to take two weeks off of work and wash my system out, Plus I smoke and will try to quit that also.
  • Could be your diet and exercise plan. If you don't eat right or get enough exercise your body will "stay tired"
  • Stop taking coffee to wake up and let your body do it naturally after a good night's sleep. It will adjust. . If you are being stressed by certain issues (e.g. marriage or job problems, tax issues, wants not met, etc.), attack them directly and your sleep will improve. . If your schedule permits, be up and about early and have a healthy morning routine. Make it regular and stay with it.
  • Maybe it's sleep apnea.
  • I have the same condition. I met a couple of different doctor to get opinions. They've put me through all kinds of tests and found nothing wrong with me. They all concluded/thought it could be depression. I also think so too becuase I'm in an unhappy marriage that not able to resolve at this time plus many other personal issues.
  • sometimes if i keep on waking up in the middle of the night..
  • I'l be lucky if I get 5
  • You might think you are sleeping for eight straight hours but you might be waking up a few times through the night. Some people wake many times through the night but are unaware come morning.
  • I have the same problem, and read something about getting into bed before 10 everyday. It has something to do with the natural biological rhythm of the body. So I did it for about a month before my roommates started acting up and being noisy. But while I was doing it, it resulted in my falling asleep really quick and waking up super early. I didn't need to use my alarm clock and I felt very rested upon waking up. The only problem I encountered was that my body rested so well that I would sometimes not sleep through the night because I would go into restorative, deep sleep really really quickly. I'd suggest try sleeping before 10 and see how it works for you.
