I'm not sure but if the blood is not real i beleive they use blood capsalse.So they can explode on impact.

Blood Packs are not used in the WWE and as a matter of fact it is very rare for a wrestling promotion to use them. Most wrestling promotions, including the WWE use a method called a bladejob. This involves a very small blade of some kind cutting the first layer of the skin to make them bleed. The blade is generally kept in the wrestlers tights during the match or in some cases the referee has the blade and gives it to the wrestler whilst 'cheking them for injuries'.
