Eating contests are utterly disgusting. People ought to be ashamed of themselves for abusing their bodies that way and usually doing so without table manners, not proud of winning. But it's a free country.

i would never over-eat with speed and gusto for any sort of prize. i remember some kids movie where this guy called "lard-ass" was competing in a pie eating contest and at the end he barfed up all over the place... truly vile if you ask me.

Pie baking? yes, pie eating?? No I wouldn't get too far.

I was in a pound cake eating contest 4 years in a row... I came in 4th out of 15. Not bad. =)

Yes I was..and I won. I dived face first into the pie and just ate. What I didn't know..is that when you win, the other contestants get to shove whatever their remaining pie in the winner's face. My face was covered in pie.
