You both live there so a compromise is needed, maybe it's time hubby went, lol.

Discuss it with your husband again.
-
If I wanted them I'd buy them!! But I am very stubbron!!!!!

If it is going to cause a major issue with your husband I would say that he is more important than the snakes. If he just doesn't want them but is more indifferent about it, try and find a compromise with him that suits both of you. If it really gets to be a serious thing, leave the snakes alone and keep your husband happy.
-
So you talked to your husband and he said no but your going to buy them anyway. I say you already made up your mind, I say be looking for a very unhappy husband.
-
Snakes don't know a good home from a hole in the ground. heh heh You should buy them and set them free as nature intended them to be. Snakes are the devil.
-
Choose your battles - a decent marriage is more important than a tank of serpents....and a bad marriage will feel like living in said tank.

$75 is a very good price for a king snake, rat snake, tanks and equipment. But it all depends on how much you want them. Will you be able to care for them and your bearded dragons at the same time? Also, does the equipment have any sort of guarantee? Another U.V tube can be quite expensive. Or is there anything else that you need to spend your money on? Ask your husband why he said no. Does he dislike snakes or is he concerned that you're 'splashing out' $75? Anyway, it's all up to you. P.S The lizard in my avartar is Leo, my leopard gecko! She's helping me in my herpetological research (I study her behaviour, etc), yet she manages to be a great friend at the smae time!
