  • Oh, I would much rather they stay home and not spread it around.
  • I think if they come to work with something contagious they should warn others to stay away! It does annoy me when people expose others to their illnesses.
  • I find myself very annoyed. I'm one of those folks who catch EVERYTHING... I hate that folks drag their germs into the office and infect everyone else.

  • I rather they stay home. what a co-worker does would not or should not make much difference to me as for the work they do but coming in sick where I or others might become sick is wrong.

  • I work in a restaurant. It always freaks me out when my coworkers are sick because I know that everything they touch has the possiblity of spreading their illness. The problem is that it only takes a few people to run a shift at a restaurant, so if they leave everything will be chaos. It's a tough call. I don't mind in a very personal sense, because I rarely get sick. But I worry about all of our customers.

  • It depends. I have employees that are "sick" at least once a month. I want them to come into work. If I know the person is really ill, I would rather have them stay home.
  • If it's contagious, I think they should stay home. Heck, even if it's not. They don't need to feel worse, be grumpy and or groggy all day, and I don't need to catch it. Just stay home.
  • If someone is contagious, they should be home recouperating. If they come to work, the boss should send them home, paid sick time or not.
  • I want them to stay home so others won't get sick. Also, if they stay home when they're sick, they'll be more understanding when I stay home when I'm sick.
