The total cost is a sum of the following: The cost of adopting the doggie. The cost of feeding the doggie for his/her entire life. The cost of the veterinary care for the doggie for his/her entire life. The cost of all leashes, colors, food bowls, beds and toys for the doggie for his/her entire life. The cost of all the shampoo, etc needed to groom the doggie for his/her entire life. The cost of fencing your yard. The cost of doggie waste cleaning supplies. The cost to repair and replace anything damaged by the doggie for his/her entire life. The cost of any other miscellaneous needs the doggie has during his/her life. I think dogs are wonderful, and I love them. The entire cost and commitment are large, but the rewards are greater - for those willing to make the REAL investment.
