Con artists, out to take the social security checks from naive little old ladies.

Scammers. Abusing "ministry" to line their coffers and pockets.

As Magenta Studios says they are con artists that take money not just from frail people but from all sorts of good and godly people. They are unbiblical and heretical in many ways from my limited knowledge of them. Tha gospel will never be popular not should it be a money spinner but these clowns have made it both. They are a disgrace and do not represent the Jesus of the bible nor His church! Thanks John for the question and welcome friend!

I can’t believe the gullibility of asking a pre-loaded question like this, and just looking at some immediate answers, you are getting exactly what you wanted… Since when is God specializing in using such of “sound” mind and intellectual people like your self, and some of those that were so fast to answer you… He uses “who-so-ever believes.” The Bible is full of people used by God that others would usually discard us unimportant and unworthy. Starting from Moses and all the prophets and including the twelve disciples that followed Christ, were all from ordinary ranks. So you think all these people are phonies, and God should recruit people like you self to do the job… right? What would you say to those that received their sight, or hearing, or been delivered from Cancer or have their loved one brought back from death, or sons/daughter delivered from demon possession in those meetings? What would you say? At least – most of those evangelist that you have mentioned, never claim any miracles done by the self, they give credit to God and constantly are stating that their Faith in God is an agent for miracles. If all the miracles would be on the news channels that God is performing throughout the world today, 24Hr’s news channel could not keep up with the testimonies… So through whom will God do this work? You? You picked seven people names that herd call of God, and they have followed. God has long abandoned the "form" and the "dogma." He is looking for those that are looking to Him to be found... If you take time and follow their trail, you may find out that there is a definite evidence of God working through them. Is all their work 100% for God without errors?, probably not, just like the work you and I are doing is not 100%. Although I know that there are religious charlatans out there, always have been, but the Bible encourages us to look for “fruits” of their deeds. If the fruit is good and real, the tree that produced it is also good. 1. Matthew 7:16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Matthew 7:15-17 (in Context) Matthew 7 (Whole Chapter) 2. Matthew 7:20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Matthew 7:19-21 (in Context) Matthew 7 (Whole Chapter) Faith movement is almost impossible to be discerned by the people that do not live by Faith. Living by Faith does look silly at times I will admit. However – those that live by it, can give and recive anything by it.

They don't have any power. And God isn't involved either. It's all about how strongly the people who go to them believe they will be healed. If you believe something strongly enough, it can happen.

Any time someone uses faith, hope and spiritual hunger to gain nmoney from others for their own purposes, I find it abominable. A pastor/priest/preacher/rabbi's purpose is to bridge the gap between a person and his or her god. It is to help them live a pure life of good works. Doing that requires very little money. When a church is pulling in millions and millions of dollars, you have to wonder about its true motives.

I really like them they are getting the word of God to people who need it the most. They have impacted the lives of many from the money that has been given to help the christian community.

the bible say's Mat 7:1-5 "JUDGE not, that you be not judged. "For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. "And why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? "Or how can you say to your brother, 'Let me remove the speck from your eye'; and look, a plank is in your own eye? "Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye. --I think we should really know what we are talking about befor we point any fingeres or words or anything at our brothers in Christ. DO YOU REALLY KNOW THESE PEOPLE? I KNOW GOD DOES!! LET US ALL GET TOGETHER AND POINT SOME BIG FINGERS AND WORDS AND ACTIONS TOWARD THE FATHER OF LIES "SATAN" LETS ALL GET TOGETHER AND SERVE HIM A NOTICE THAT HE IS NOT WANTED IN OUR LIVES, IN GODS PEOPLE, IN THE BODY OF BELIEVERS. LETS COME AGAINST THE DEVIL, THE DEVIL, THE DEVIL, IN THE NAME OF JESUS!!!!!! AMEN

I do wander how people just immediatly start calling people scammer and such. These people have brought more people to the Lord than probably any one else sitting hear calling names. What have any of you name callers done for GOD? If your answer is nothing then SHUTUP. And how about some examples showing that what they teach is not scriptural.

there are some that i love to listen to..bring Truth..and not saying these don't,as not familiar with them, but i have 2 standards to spreading the WORD that i adhere to.1)the minute they ask for money i turn off!! this is wrong in my BOOK 2) showing healing for own glory is a no,no...not done today..a person's faith alone can heal him if God wills it and the help of prayer by other God loving people..i pretty much avoid most, do like Shepherd's Chapel and listen all the time of the verse by verse ,common sense teaching of this teacher...:)justme

You listed the worst of the worst, but forgot Jesse Duplantis. These people twist God's word for their own purposes. Just take one sermon by any one of these people, compare it to what God actually says and then you will see what they are all about. Example, I have seen this happen many times. They take the parable of the farmer sewing seeds and twist it. Jesus used seeds to represent to word of God. They use it to represent money. I have heard them promise people that if they sew a seed of $1000 God will cure their cancer. Listen to what they say, they always call money a seed, and you giving sewing. It is a travesty against God.

Just like any "movement" it has its pro's and con's. I think that there is definitely a DEGREE of truth to what they say. They have a portion of truth, but like any recipe if you only have one ingredient, you're not going to get very far. A pot of soil taken out of the earth and set by itself molds and sours. A bucket of water taken out of the sea stagnates. A handful of truth taken out of God's revelation is not, as they think, preserved, but, like the manna kept overnight, breeds worms and decays.

Liars and thieves of the worst kind. They prey on human weakness and make fortunes from it. . DR away... +5

Well, I am not super familiar with them all, but I would say I agree totally with Kenneth Hagin, Ken Copeland and a few others. Apparently you have never taken the time to hear how some of them got where they are. And yes, it you have thousands of followers tithing, your church is going to be proserous! Did God say we are supposed to be poor? So far I have yet to refute what they teach it is biblical. People are quick to hate, especially those who are doing good. I do believe God talks to people... aren't we supposed to know those who operate in God by their fruits? What kind of fruits to these people produce? I do believe in their healing teachings and if you would listen you will have the best possible case for total healing out there... the only way you can truley refute it is to say God doesn't exist and if you believe in God that won't cut it. I prefer my children to watch Smile of a Child tv channel, put on by TBN. There is no false teachings. I could go on and on but I won't. The ones I listen to I do believe!

Frankly, they scare the Bejesus out of me. They offer wealth and prosperity if you are good enough or have enough faith. They prey on people who are looking for answers to their spiritual questions and lie to them and keep them from finding what it is they are looking for while emptying their pockets of their cash.

I do not believe that those doing healing should be paid, but should follow Bible examples. (Mt 10:8; 2Kings 5:1,14-16) Faith is needed on those doing healing. (Matthew 17:14-20) I do not believe that faith of those being healed is necessary, other than enough to approach him. (Matthew 8:13; 9:22, 29; Mark 6:4-6) On one occasion Jesus healed a lame man who did not even know who Jesus was. (John 5:5-9, 13) On the night of his arrest, Jesus restored the severed ear of the high priest’s servant, although this man was one of the group of Jesus’ enemies who had come to arrest him. (Luke 22:50, 51) Jesus even raised the dead. (Luke 8:54, 55; John 11:43, 44) Naaman, for example, did not fully believe he could be cured of his leprosy in the way the prophet Elisha directed, until after his cure. (2 Kings 5:11-13, 15) They should not make a big to do over it, but if they video tape the internal healings, I would like for them to show live video of a limb coming back or an ear like Malchus. (Luke 22:51,Matthew 9:35; Mark 3:3-5.)
