Did you make friends your first day of college or did it take a little while?

I was lucky as I met one of my best friends ever on the very first day. We had similar personalities and we got along pretty well. I made a lot of friends after that, I used to be much more timid in high-school but College was different for me.

It took me awhile ... to make real friends. Just because someone smiles , does not mean that they want to be FRIENDS. I made quite a few "ACQUAINTAINCES" though ....

I made a lot of friends the first day/weekend. All guys from my hall. Those friendships lasted all year, and while some weren't as good as others, it was great to have so many people to talk to.
