By leaving them so they could find someone who wasn't capable of trust?

you know i know this sounds corney but i would never have to worrie about this. But since we are pretending, i wouldn't do anything out of the ordinary, because then they wont feel that something is up. I might say i love you more, but nothing to extreme.

I would never be in that situation..and I'd certainly never hire a private detective..and reward my partner for what? Doing what a partner is suppose to be doing?
-
I wouldn't do anything, but trust them more. After all they just followed the rules nothing more.
-
You can reward them by learning to keep your paranoia in check.
-
By coming clean about my super shady ventures in mistrust.

Your partner and mine deserve privacy. You should be ashamed of checking on him or her. LynnNH is right. You should check your paranoia at the threshold when you get married. You are thinking of rewarding your partner for being pure, like the driven snow? Give yourself a good dose of castor oil instead. By the way, how do you know that your detective was effective? Maybe your partner is going out with someone, but just didn't go out on the days your detective followed him or her. Grow up.

I'd reward him by trusting him from then on!
