  • Good on you for wanting to volunteer. I don't really know of any e-books or other avenues where you can find out info. However, if you have to be 14 y/o to join, that must mean that they will teach you from scrath, which most times is a good thing. Most times, when starting a new course, the instructers will state, if you know anything at all about fighting fires eg; forget it, as we will teach you the proper way. The only way I can think of helping you find out a little bit more, is perhaps find a 15 or 16 y/o volunteer already and ask them!
  • get as much training as possible while your young trust me lol got to FEMA.gov check out ther independent study program and national fire acedemy online they are free classes and it's great info and you get certified for it need help e-mail me haroldrhair@hotmail.com
