Dark haired people can often have blue eyes. Is it possible for a really fair haired person with light skin to have brown eyes?

The children of a friend are nearly white haired, they are so blonde, even in their teens and both have beautiful dark eyes. It's very striking!

There was a really fair, blonde girl in one of my schools who had deep brown eyes. A very beautiful combination. She had the most beautifully shaped eyes too. Sadly, she wasn't a very nice person. Most people here have blond/blonde hair and either grey appearing or some shade of blue eyes. I rarely see any brown eyed Danes unless they're adopted like me or mixed.

Oh, sure, it's just not as common as the brown-brown or blonde-blue combination. Genetics is a mathematical science, and the rules of probability apply. My mother has brown eyes. My father had brown eyes. My brother has brown eyes. Brown is a dominant gene. But I have blue eyes, because my father's mother did, and because my mother's father did. Though my parents' eyes are dark, each of them was carrying a hidden light-eyed gene from their light-eyed parent. And in me, those recessive genes matched up, and here I am. The same is true of their hair: both of them were brown-haired, but I am blonde. So I'm a typical blue-eyed blonde. But I COULD have gotten just one brown-eyed gene from either of them, and my eyes would be brown, but my hair would still be blonde. I do not know what the probabilities are for each combination but they are all out there. Naturally dark haired people with blue eyes isn't actually that common. But yes, you can have fair-haired with dark eyes. The different eye and hair colour combinations are becoming more common as genetics are mixed more and more due to the multiculturalism and such.
