What is the price difference between the best laser printer and the best inkjet printer? I want to buy a printer which can print, scan, copy and fax for home use. Any suggestions?

I would have to guess, a lot. The best Laser printer will cost you thousands, the the best Inkjet will cost you about a thousand, so if you have bags of money, buy what you like, go to staples or Best Buy and ask their geeks there.

I use the Lexmark 2400 series printer, its a laser printer, does all the things you want from it (not sure bout the fax, I did not know they were still being used!), its cheap (about 30 UK pounds) and great quality.
