That sucks.

if shes using her cards, and still working a Private investigator can find her..

If you're in the US, try http://www.ussearch.com/consumer/index.jsp Depending on what state she's in, you could look at the court records. If she's had a traffic ticket or owns property you can find the address in the county or court records. Also, you can have call blocking blocked to your telephone. If someone attempts to call you with a blocked telephone number, a recording tells them that you do not accept unidentified calls and they must dial *82 to unblock their number. Good luck.

You can still get a divorce. In Ohio, if they don't know the whereabouts of a spouse, they must publish the divorce in the paper or Legal News for 6 weeks. The court sends a notice to the last known address. Then you can have your divorce. Don't answer the phone when she calls, then you can tell them she abandoned you and you don't have any contact with her.

It sounds like you must be talking to her by phone. AND it sounds like she probably wants the divorce too (hence the hiding). Can you not arrange to transfer papers through a 3rd party without knowing her address (a lawyer or a family member, etc.)
-
Azraff is correct - no need to find her to get a divorce. Each state has its own way of service of complaint/petition for divorce by publication in a newspaper. It would probably be better if you could get a lawyer to do that, but it's not rocket science, so once you file for divorce, the people at the registry/clerk of court where you file will be able to give some general guidance. The rest you can find in a library by pulling a divorce statute. Good luck!!!

If you know the town she is in then you may have to see about getting the lawyer to write something up for the post office to reveil the information or talk to the local sherriffs office and have them to locate her through the post office. She may even have a friend or family member that is lying to you about knowing her whereabouts. Good luck
