Despite my many alcohol related questions and answers, I can have a great time without alcohol. Good company is more important. I can go for long periods of time without thinking about alcohol, but I would go crazy without the company of others.

Yeah, of course. I hate it that people automatically associate party with alcohol, because you don't need alcohol to have a good time. Actually, my friend and I have been holding rave parties each year, and we expressly say on the invitations that no one is to bring or come under the influence of alcohol or any type of drug.

If I really liked you but, I wouldn't stay very long. As the host I personally think it is nice to have a variety of drinks-alcohol included. I enjoy a drink in a social setting. To be honest, If I didn't know you well I would prob. skip your party. Sorry- to be so blunt. I know it sounds harsh.

If a person declines attending a party because there is no alcohol, it means that they believe that alcohol is needed to have fun. This is a childish view of life. Parties should be fun outside the alcohol and if alcohol is present it should be in addition to fun. Anyone who declines the invitation because there will not be alcohol is in effect declining your company and hospitality. If I knew you and you were my friend, I would come alcohol or none.

Well acohol can make a fun party...it can also make a party bad really easily....(drunk ppl like to get out of control :/..) but as long as their is good music...and stuff to do...that is all that matters...... nothing worse then just sitting and doing nothing :/

I don't drink alcohol and never have. However, I probably still wouldn't come. I don't like big parties. Big parties are good at making me feel uncomfortable. However, I can help you set up before it starts and clean up after the party is over and all the lazy people leave. How does that sound?

Yeah I don't drink anyway after being a 24/7 alcoholic for 5 years. I've got about 19 months and I'm at the point where I can hang around people who are drinking and not be tempted. But I'm always eager to meet people who don't drink but are still crazy.
