  • I'm not sure what the best procedure would be but, I would recommend though not necessarily in this order: 1. Contact the police chief. 2. Contact an attorney/District DA. 3. Contact your local news paper. 4. Contact the dept. internal affairs division. 5. Contact Attorney General of your state. Probably your best bet is option 1 and 4. Option 3 will upset people, but if it's factual and accurate and published -- it tends to make the City Council investigate as it looks really really bad.
  • First, how do you know that you are being framed or arrested by a corrupt police officer? this is a serious statement that needs further proof. if your accusations are founded, it could have and should have the attention of anyone associated with this officer. your statement is one-sided, meaning the officer also has an unheard side of your statement. all police agencies have or should have an internal affairs section, within their department. file a complaint, but have all your facts and proof available, before you make the accusations. you are dealing with a persons livelyhood.
  • Proof. you will have to have proof and plenty of it. i only hope this would or has not happened to you. if you suspect and have the proof, of a corrupt police officer, contact the internal affairs section. you will have to make a written, signed statement and present proof. an investigation will be conducted and you will be advised of the findings. a word of caution: if your accusations have no merit, you can be sued for defemation of character in civil court. Make sure you have a case and can prove it. then proceed.
  • Notify the feds. The police dept.'s stick together. It is a brotherhood. If one is corrupt and he/she has worked there a while, more than likely it is all corrupt and they all know about it.
